Mine is a K1 and has the doc pouch (i had one in 1972)
Just wanted to confirm the one i was given with the bike was correct.
I told the seller i didn't want the plastic base repro that it was being sold with so he put a tatty "500" seat in and as Julie's pikkies it is correct,.

Anyway the pics I posted are from two different K0 bikes. I was still in the process of balancing the carbs on the bike in the lower pic, hence the tank not fully strapped down. I may sound stupid, but I'm reasonable safety conscious ;-).
Deformed tray came with the bike and was in a box under a pile of parts when it came to me (had been like it for years I suspect).
Glad you confirmed what you needed via Julie.

I think it's a 500 k series seat..exactly what though I have no idea
It is very solid but just looks rough in the pics..it would clean up really well.
The seat strap screws are in solid but should come out with abit of effort..

The one we have here is the same age as Rich's, 1972, therefore it has the doc pouch. That's why I sent him the pics of that seat pan. If it had been a K0,i would have sent pics of that seat pan instead ::) ::) ::) ::)Ohh didn't spot this Julie. I love it when you sound stroppy with me....
