Title: CB750K0 from DK
Post by: royhall on January 27, 2017, 07:59:23 AM
Okay guys an galls pick a few holes with this one. Personally struggling to see any K0 bits on it , but I'm no expert. Dont think it's worth buying as it will cost too much to replace all the bits even if you can find them.

Hmm, I got notified of this, now mine is more or less finished, the masochist in me keeps looking at an early bike to restore.

As far as I can see, its more a K6 with the wrong frame than a K0. It does have K0 clocks, even though the later idiot lights are fitted, and, er, that's it.....

But hey, the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

Mind you it could be worse, look at this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Honda-CB-/361887084183

Quote
1969 Honda cb750 sandcast, Sandcast number 1001073

You could buy it, swap the motor, sell it again and be the proud owner of, er, looks at photo of engine number, diecast motor number 1034188.....

Clearly some 'alternative facts' at play here.  >:(

Wrong engine.

Otherwise I´ld have everything here to make her look as she should do.

Unless it's photographic perspective playing games, the front wheel of that bike looks too close to the exhaust downpipes.

Mick.

Just a little out of line as a seller would say but, in the MOT bay, that is bent to F*ck.

Cant believe the bids on that as its nothing more than a pile of junk, and its not even made reserve yet. I guess if you just put the K0 thing in the advert up goes the price. All your buying here is a K0 frame and what's the use of that without the correct engine? Is anybody on here a bidder?

The climate was not so kind to the bike I bought in December.....fires and runs on spray was the advert......(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170128/9edd6fd501a09362f9e8c29312ef9628.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170128/e06a4bbe571f547581e7c24a0a50f995.jpg)

Crikey Niko thats a mess. Dont understand why they would do that ether spray thing, could do all kinds of damage. Why don't they just tell us "does it turn over or is it seized"

It did turn over to be fair.....but as you can imagine it wasn't exactly Swiss watch.

Well the bag of bits K0 sold for £3000 just hitting the reserve. Someone's going to be disappointed when that arrives and they start researching what they bought.

Perhaps the buyer isn't bothered about originality,  it did state in the listing that it was assembled from different models.  As long as he (or she) enjoys riding it.

Agreed could make a good bike. But from the much larger than usual number of bids I suspect the K0 thing was big in there minds.

This one has an f1 wing on it, £3600 for uk USA import barn find, what ever that means.  13k miles.
If true would make a great bike for someone, but in reality you would need to spend a lot getting it road worthy again. Nice once you take off the bling

Another one, looks clean. But again needs work as us import and engine rebuild possibly. Still a great buy for someone at £2k, owner does not state if all duties have been paid.

Again someone has given up, half way through project which needs verified why as too many projects is not really a good reason unless parts are very expensive. Looks nice

Is that for real, how can someone justify spending £50k on a Honda?, would you get your money back in a few years?. It has 20,000 miles on it!
