Looks good.  As my engine is out and stripped down, I'm going to tackle the finish.  I've had it powder coated about 6 years ago and its peeling in a few places and it's discoloured from having an oil leak.
My plan,  subject to better ideas on this forum,  is to shift the loose powdercoating and repaint it.
What was the process?  I'm guessing etch primer, then silver paint, lacquer, then bake in the oven. But I'm not the expert so how did you go about it
Any advice would be very welcome.

That's a nice looking engine hope mine will look as good.

I also did some polishing on it, specifically the head cover as well as the side panels. I know some people put on lacquer on their side panels, sounds like a good idea. Would it be suitable for the head cover as well or should I use something like clear VHT paint?

Cheers
