If they have glass/metal uppers they will be K1 - if plastic uppers they will be K0.
You can reduce size of pictures by using this link then saving reduced size picture - then upload

Hi Frank1e
Not wanting to be a Vulture here but i have just finished a K0 and have a fault with my Rev counter.
If by chance you change yours to the correct ones may i have first dibs at buying the rev counter you have if you want to sell it.
Look forward to seeing the pictures.

22.... is K3, the K2 would be 20.... and have a unicorn top yoke.

Thanks for your replies . I will keep you in mind if decide to sell.Yes tops are metal.but i dont know what a unicorn type yoke is...im wondering now that the whole front end maybe k1...that may have been why that k3 front guard didnt fit that i had to send back last week..(http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t374/frankiemoto1/DSCF7021_zpsrhiervix.jpg) (http://s1056.photobucket.com/user/frankiemoto1/media/DSCF7021_zpsrhiervix.jpg.html)(http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t374/frankiemoto1/DSCF7022_zpshg62jqma.jpg) (http://s1056.photobucket.com/user/frankiemoto1/media/DSCF7022_zpshg62jqma.jpg.html)

K1 clocks - the unicorn yoke is what you have (the yoke has the horn type centre used upto K2). The fork lowers are different upto and including K2 - which is why your guard diddn't fit

Top of the class for Phil today. The unicorn with the clocks and all the fittings are worth a bit more than 99p  ;)

K3, K4 top yoke in picture

This is what you should have, Trigg will confirm i'm sure.

Your Unicorn is gold dust if it hasn't been welded. You will have no trouble selling that.

The K2 needs the unicorn - it's just the clock that are different - no idiot lights in the clock's. Keep the yoke and sell clock's & buy K2 clock's (if you can get them)

I thought it was a K2 Rich, if it's a k3 your right - best if it is a k3 as the clocks n yokes can be sold for a fortune and buy the cheaper k3 on yokes/clock's!

I would say it is a K3 that has had a accident to the front end and then, a K1 front end put on. Would like to see more pictures of the bike to confirm.

Half k3 and the rest...gold dust !
I like the sound of that..
Last of the unicorns..very rare..and sought after..
yes mate its a unicorn special
Im starting to believe my own bs.. :)

but see i did think ,right this old bike has been in a smash and the front ends been changed..so if that was the case the steering lock would not have the same lock number...which it has, the same as ignition and seat..i really have a feeling that this is original to the bike..tho its been out before..the frames been stove enamelled sometime in the past..but im sure you all know best
thanks lads i'll get some pics up soon,ta,Frank

Could be the original bottom yoke (as they are very hard to bend) or as I did the other day, take the steering lock from one bottom yoke and but it in another  ;)
Don't ask me how I know all these things  ;D ;D

Yes that will be it.
bottom yoke is original  matching the frames enamel
Top yoke has original paint badly painted over
so .. a crash after a rebuild then hurriedly fixed up..
might also explain the odd(k1 again)top right hm300 pipe

Don't forget to use the correct spacers or you could kill your unicorn!

I have no notion what spacers you are referring to...but i did notice a thick washer in the slot of each of the pinch clamps..did think ..what the hell are they thinking of ?...
No no we must preserve the Unicorn !
Tell us more...please/thank you

The washers in the unicorn are called D washers. They stop you over doing the pinch bolts, without these you may crack the top yoke.

Yes the spacers or 'D' washers are there to stop over
tightening the clamps and cracking the unicorn.
Just keep them with the yoke if you sell it on.

I don't think that the buzzer was fitted in the UK and only fitted for some markets.

.

The buzzer was fitted to the UK K6, but I have never seen it on any UK early units.
