Seeing the 'before' pic brings it into perspective.  I feel your pain, having been there myself.  Bastards - the ragheads have got the right idea; chop their thieving hands off.
I suppose the insurance firm will just BER it and that'll be that.  More thieves!

Ah Les that's heart breaking. What a bunch of c*nts. No idea why anyone would do that. Mindless idiots.

Sadly thieves are getting forensically aware, burnt out vehicles can offer no fingerprint or DNA evidence, so practically no chance of getting caught. So sorry for your loss, it's like losing a family member having owned it so long. I assume the seat base was fibreglass looking at what's left of it? :'( :'( :'(

That's rough Lester...
If you do rebuild it and I have any useful parts... you are welcome to them...

That sucks, what utter tossers to torch it. Looks like a fair bit of work to get that back right after that.
really sorry to see that done to a decent bike.

Bastards, makes my blood boil!  >:( Sorry for your loss. :(
I had an attempted break in at my garage, the muppets didn't get in but it cost me a new garage door. I have now got a system in place that means you can't open the door from outside, the garage has an alarm and I made bars for the windows. I still lock the bikes up with 2 chains and a disc lock and chained to an object. You just have to make life more difficult for them so they move on to some other poor bugger!

My mate had a bike shop in town for 7 years or so, until he closed last week after scumbags broke in and had all the bikes for the 2nd time and the insurance was silly after that, 2nd break in was worst one as he lost several of his own classic Yamaha scramblers that were nicely restored, one of the other motorbike shops in town got done over too. Makes my blood boil, thieving scrotes lifting someone elsesbike and either trashing it or nicking it. They need drowning in a septic tank, which is where they will end up if I caught one snooping in my sheds.
