After several soul destroying weeks fixing fault after fault on my wife’s cheapo Piaggio x8 125 scooter we’ve bitten the bullet and bought her a new un !, Peugeot D’jango 125 4 stroke twist n go, and what a pretty little machine it is, almost want one myself!😄[attachimg=1]

I just love that colour, the whole bike looks really retro, very, very nice.
-
And there was I thinking it was going to be a picture of a washing machine or a dishwasher! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Agree very retro.
Now you have someone to ride with. :P

Thanks Julie, evidently it’s called Pistachio!🙂
That’s the problem Green1, she loves it and wants to go out with me all the time, it’s encroaching on my “my time bike timeâ€!, in truth it is nice to find a common interest after all these years 😄
Ref below, knew I could rely on you HG 🙂, TBH I thought I’d buy her something she’d actually use!

Oooooooo white wall tyres.
-
She’s done 68 miles on it and the back one is grey with brake dust, no doubt a Little job for me with the blanco !
-
Try a quick wipe with thinners on a cloth it worked great on my white walls on the car.
Keep it off the paint though. ;D

Thanks Moorey.
Still running wife’s in but took their demonstrater out, really nippy, I had 66mph showing on my sat nav, (70 on the bikes speedo) not bad at all for a twist n go, brakes are really good, linked front and rear on the left lever and front only on the right, wifey just needs a Parker now 🙂
-
And that's exactly how I started my two wheel journey, a Lambretta Li125 and a Parker many, many moons ago.
A lifetime later still continuing only without the Lambretta but I must confess I do still consider one. Then sense kicks in thankfully. ;D

Mate of mine just paid 8k for a lambretta!, not sure which one, a 175 sports type thing, yes nostalgia is great but you also need to think, will I use it?, I almost bought a basket case Malagutti Monte 50 recently, that was my first bike, then I thought once I’d restored it I would have something that would do 50 flat out, so not very practical, was great when 16 though!, library picture below.[attachimg=1]
