Title: CB500K0 MCM four hour Road Test June 1972
Post by: AshimotoK0 on June 03, 2019, 08:38:55 AM
Bought a copy of this MCM yesterday for 20p and scanned the Road test to pdf below. Enjoy ! if you have not seen it before

In the same issue was a Honda UK advert too but not the same reg. Wonder what happened to those two bikes? Sadly neither on DVLA register.

ALSO see my old post here with earlier MCM tests etc when they first got their hands on one in the UK (in the best colour of course Candy Jet Green  ;D ;D )

SMH 994K

LGP 31K (on DVLA but last taxed Non 1981 was 1st reg'd in Feb 1972 BLACK)

HLW 875K

Well that took me back! That was the exact article that I read and subsequently decided to buy my 500. Really enjoyed that bit of nostalgia

T500 was far too smelly for me! Two strokes never floated my boat

Back in 72 my mate had a T500 and i had a CB500, we swopped over to try each others bike, never again!! it was like riding a Briggs & Stratton, major vibes. Much preferred my old Hustler.
