Title: Favicon Competition!
Post by: SteveD CB500K0 on January 28, 2009, 09:58:25 AM

See that little black square with the bike in it on your toolbar/address bar/bookmark/favourite (*delete as appropriate)?  That's a favicon and has been added to the site (by John).

The picture is a Triumph Sprint...

so if any of you out there have a good picture/logo/graphic you'd like to submit, we'll have a little competition. Winner gets his/her icon used on the site!

"Rules":

1. Image must be square!
2. Image can be any size (I'll reduce it)
3. Image must be simple as it has to be rendered to 32x32 pixels

Fire away!

Steve

This was the sites original logo back in 2003, yes we've been going that long, see the wayback machine for proof...

You may also have noticed (or not!!) that I've increased the allowed size of the avatar, max size now is 250 pixels square

Sorry John. That doesn't render to a favicon very well!

Didn't think it would, but it starts the ball rolling.
