Title: TRICKLE CHARGER

can someone advise me what i need to keep batterys from going flat ...

will be 2 550's  f2 and k3

You should be OK for over a month wihout as long as battries are OK and good idea to kickstart after they have been stood, also drain carbs.

When i was selling there used to be a thing called a Battery Tender which was about the size of a mobile charger and charged at less than 1/2 amp, dont know if they still exist or not

been on hols for 2 weeks and barely turns over, so need a charger ,

will look up this optimim, take it you disconnect battery and hook this up for couple of hours

also how to drain carbs,

both optimate (what I've got) and accumate can be left attached to the bike all the time (other than when you are rideing it, and will montor and maintain the battery all year long if need be

Optimate has a 24 hour cycle so a couple of hours will not really help.

Look into an Optimate III from eBay - the new Optimate IV is very complicated and another
