Title: Gaiter retaining rings

Hi all, I’m assuming these retainer rings slip upwards to retain top of gaiter to headlamp ear? Is there a secret or an easy way to fit? I just have them sitting on top of rubber at the moment but I know this can’t be right.

Push the gaiter up until its properly seated all the way round, push down on the ring, twisting ring around at same time. The rubber sort of gets locked under the ring. Try a bit of red rubber grease as well.
