They don’t call it Grindcore / Death Metal for nothing do they?
We were heavy metal fans (think Uriah Heep etc), but this is just a wall of noise.
Maybe it’s age. I’m sure my parents thought my music was a wall of noise too.

Saw the Australian Pink Floyd at Nottingham a couple of years ago.
They were brilliant as for the audience they were all over 70!😁😁😁

Seen em about 8 times now, nearest you’ll get to see Floyd for real these days, can’t see them doing much else now, can you?
I cropped the last trip to the states early to come back to see them.

Oz Floyd coming to Dundee in November. Got tickets already. This'll be the 4th time I've seen them.
Saw the real thing in Cardiff in 73 iirc and Roger Waters in Earls Court, Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. 😎

Sounds terrible

Would have loved to have seen them in Pompeii, what a gig

Before COVID we went to quite a few concert in the park events in Derbys & Notts. At one event the warm up band was Union Gap - they were brilliant - happy days.
-
Saw Glen Tilbrook last night (lead guitarist in Sqeeze) whio was supporting a band called KING KING.
Heard them a lot on the radio bur last nights gig was possibly one of the best gigs Ive ever beeb to. Most were commenting on what an awesome gig as they left so it wasnt just me being over enthusiastic. Up to birmingham tonight to go and see 'Blackberry Smoke'
I've had these tickets since before lockdown, fingers crossed for another belter this evening. 8)

Well if any of you are thinking f going to the O2 arena in Birmingham, don’t bother what a shite venue. Can’t see a bloody thing so standing in the only available space down the side of the stage, might as well have say in the far and listened to a CD. Bit pissed off really!
