looks like a good basis for resto, engine looks oil tight and if chrome will polish up would save some money.

Hi Johnny,
Are you looking for another?
I'm sure JamesH will know of this guy and perhaps might look it over if he has time, for a prospective buyer.  He might have already seen it!

Ian

I got my CD125A sloper twin off him and James kindly picked it up for me. Not sure if J was impressed with their setup or not. Think he just buys bikes from DK and other UK well known importers. Mine was actually imported by 'Huggys Speed Shop' (Mark Gaskin), when I checked out the Nova Cert. I did negotiate the price down by about 10% over the 'phone without any hassle though ... so he is much  easier than the likes of FreddieTheFatFrog to deal with.

This guy (Charlie)  in the link below  is always my 'go-to trader' for a good honest deal with no B.S. .....  I got my C110 off him last year and again he gave me a bit of discount without hassle.

One for Trigger and Julie https://www.classichondamotorcycles.co.uk/bikedetail.aspx?bike=5395

Don't encourage him Ash 😂😂😂😂. We've done well reducing the bike stock over the past couple of years  but as you know, Graham went to look at another bike yesterday and there are more in the pipeline he is interested in 🙄🙄🙄🙄. The plan to move somewhere smaller has now ended up as needing a 2 up 2 down Cottage with 15 garages 😂😂😂😂

SNAP! I'm going through the same thing Julie, trying to downsize to make some room to just walk around the bike on the workbench. So far I've got rid of the restored blue 400/4, the restored Kawasaki Z400J, the wife's YB250, the 1927 Triumph 550SD (in very large lumps) and last Friday my CB250RSA went off to a dealer. Selling the RSA was a wrench as I'd owned it for 21 years and restored it about 6 years ago. And after al the above I still don't have enough room!

The exhausts are toast, the r/h are rotted through and the left will be dented to hell by the main stand as they clearly forgot to fit the bump stop.

Thanks guys for your input. Don’t know if there’s repro exhausts available of this type? Think this would be a long term resto for me. Would need a complete strip. But heh ho, up for the challenge. I’ll message James see if he has any input!

Well I have made contact with Neil with various questions and an offer. To my surprise he said he needs the room and has accepted my generously discounted offer. What no haggling!😳
Now I have to get the bloody thing home from Brighton! 🤣🤣. Roll on winter w/shop fun and horror discoveries.🥵 🛠️🛠️🛠️

Yes indeed Bryan! There’s a good reputable local removals firm called Macadie & Reeve they go up and down the country most weeks doing drop offs and pick ups. I’ll have to speak with them tomorrow to see if they will stretch that far.😜

Ian used a company to collect his bike from Brighton and get it to Orkney, is that the removal company you mention Johnny?
