Post by: Legin on September 04, 2010, 07:35:18 PM
I want to get the most effective brake pads i can for my 750 k1 but the sintered jobbies dont seem to be available in the early round ones. Anyone advise what i should buy.

Not sure that you'll be spoilt for choice with performance pads but I could be wrong? I thought about using a boat anchor on mine but it's not a very practical solution. I ran right over the top of a big lamb a couple of months back at around 70mph with both brakes full on and seriously failing to  slow the bike down  :o. Past it's mot test though

If you can get them I would use EBC HH range. That is if they are available for that model.

But generally any pad oreinted toward the sport end of the market will help.

Also you'd be surprised at how much difference a fluid change makes too.

It seems you can't get HH pads

Yes I conclude that I cant get them either. I have decided to buy a variety of pads and try them out first set were only
