Title: Brake pedal chrome or nickel plated?

Just getting my bits ready to go to the platers.
Are the brake pedal, kickstart and gear selector chromed? It looks way duller than chrome.

Is there a letter code at the end of the part number as on some screws?

I have a 1974 550k0 and they are original and chromed.
