Thanks - a friend sent me the pic yesterday. I'd love to find a good quality poster of that!

Ha, that could have been me at the Manx GP in 1977.

It’s from a magazine article called “Relearning the course†from 1977.
I don’t have the mag, only the image of him leaping the 400 at Ballaugh Bridge

That's just what it's like riding a 400/4 around our part of Lincolnshire on the sinking ex sea bed roads 😂😂😂😂

Being a 400/4 I think No 3 carb is showing signs of flooding 🙂.
I know the photo is B&W and the bike looks either red or blue and it is certainly flying. If it had been a yellow one it would have been going too quick to get a photo😉😴........

It's a red one Dave :) judging from the film response as red records darker than blue for an unfiltered B&W film. There's reference in the red sections of the painted curb stones too that give a tonal reference.
I know, I've spent too many hours in a dark room ;D

And another.

At first I thought it was just some guy out on his CB400F trying to avoid the potholes! But that can't be right since they used all the potholes to fill the Albert Hall.
