Looks a nice bike for sure, I guess the price of some new bikes makes some folk think twice about buying a classic.

I could almost hear the old blat blat blat note of the exhausts, I can't think how many miles I'd ridden on my gaggle of these in my despatch days! ;D

That's really odd. Is it still on Frank's site Ash? I received a phone call just before Christmas last year from a guy on the south coast who'd bought it? He asked if I had the keys for the steering lock! I told him Frank had them along with everything else.
I guess something must have gone wrong with the sale?
I'd love to buy it back for the price I sold it for less £500 of course now the market has crashed 😉

I've just noticed he's changed the Kick start lever. He's fitted the olive drab finished item, I had the original chrome plated after spending hours with a file smoothing off the casting marks! He hasn't changed the rear brake lever though, I had that chrome plated as well.

I think he has a habit of buying bikes back again Dave. I guess it must have gone to a new owner as I don't think Frank would be bothered about reverting the kickstart back to olive drab finish... that can only have ben done by an RSA afficionado.

Yep that's the one Nigel. One of the marshalls up there wanted to buy it and asked me to name my price as he had a Vincent that he no longer had the energy to start. He wasn't interested in a strange swap for some reason!
