The forlorn hope is that the optimistic seller will find an online buyer who has had a wee late night dram.😃

...maybe the seller thinks the grammatical error makes it worth £10. A bit like the coins and stamps which are printed or minted incorrectly..

Reminds me of a guy I worked with he couldn’t seem to let the inappropriate use of the apostrophe go over his head like most of us numptys could. And it’s probably because he knew when and where to use properly.🤭

I like using over spaced hyphens rather than a comma in long sentences, to avoid too many "and's". Pretty much all my posts are edited when I spot errors, more likely when I use my phone.

I see lots of grammatical errors or misused words on posts, at the end of the day were not sitting an english test.
However when I see mistakes in professional posters & invitations that's not acceptable.  Wendy attended a very upmarket wedding a few months ago. Two hundred invites went out with a glaring error on the outer cover that was I believe professionally printed. Some spell checkers are often poor with context, if the word exists they ignore it.

My Google Pixel phone is really annoying as it tries to predict whole sentences, it can change what I have typed with reckless abandon..on..on.

PS I never passed English O Level, I have a wide vocabulary, I learnt some Technical  German to enable me to work in a chemical plant in Krefeld, however my spelling has always been poor. My excuse is that when I came to the UK permanatly aged 5 I knew no English at all. At secondary school I was too lazy to rote learn how to spell as it was not logical Mr Spock. Maths & Science always seemed easier somehow.

In reply to the original post
What an absolute piss take, a real “these tossers will buy anything” attitude. Some of his aftermarket stuff is getting that way as well, makes me want to stop buying anything from him.

Hope I got the punctuation in the right place, probably not.  Makes me laugh when someone criticises a post for bad spelling and grammar and I haven’t even noticed anything wrong😂😂😂😂😂
But I do also agree with Ted,  if it’s a professional thing it should be correct.
