I'm new to the site but my 1969 CD175A Sloper and I have been together for 47 years now.
I bought it in the summer of 1977 for the princely sum of £40!
I restored the bike about 25 years back and although it's a long long way from concourse, it's pretty tidy for a 55 year old bike.
At the time I restored it, there wasn't the same access to parts, new or secondhand, unless you could find them locally.
My seat was shot, and the seat pan was in pretty bad shape too, so I replaced it with a later seat.
If anyone has a seat for a sloper available then please get in touch.
It also needs the correct center stand (not sure which model my one came from).
I can live without the fully enclosed chain guard but I think its pretty close to being original other than that.
Thanks
Gordon

Hi Gordon, welcome to the forum. That’s a nice old 175, two quite different bikes there. Nice classic car there too. There’s a couple of us members up in Orkney and quite a few in Scotland now. Very fine bunch to be associated with here.

Might be Gordon has used an estate agents camera that makes a box room look like a triple garage.😁😁😁
Welcome Gordon, some if us have an envy chip that we hide using humour.👍👍👍

Welcome to the forum Gordon. Good to see you've already found out we like a bit of humour :).
The bikes (and car) look fantastic, nice history of you and the Sloper. The bikes look a bit lost in that mansion of a garage, you need some work benches, cupboards, pictures and lots of tools on show in there (and a couple of project bikes in large pieces over the floor)😁.
Have fun 👍

A lovely looking Honda CD175S Sloper in one of my favourite colours, same bike for 47 years, impressive.

Welcome Gordon, I have just finished my sloper, hardest bit to get was the original exhaust.

Welcome to the site, always plenty of help and knowledge available here. The CD looks really nice and such a great colour.
I love all the space in your garage it’s such an unusual thing to see. I need to figure out where I have gone wrong🤔.
