Hi boys and girls. I was given an F2 in boxes after the original owner started to Bob - it but gave up many years ago. I wasn't sure if Id continue with the bobber theme but when looking at pictures of F2's realised how nice they look. So, I'm taking the return to standard route. I've had a CB500/4 and then a CB550/4 in my yoof but never the 750, so I'm really looking forward to slowly working away on this project. My first requirement is a knackered old frame because my lovely powder coated existing one has been de-lugged so I'm thinking I could cut and reweld said lugs onto this nice frame.? It goes without saying I'll be needing your experience and knowledge here to get through.
Thanks in anticipation Martin

Welcome to the forum. Good luck rescuing the de-lugged frame. I'm sure good advice is available from the 750 owners on here.

Welcome Martin looking forward to the project and pictures :)

When I've looked at frames they are often not as expensive as I thought even at bike breakers, the 750 might be different.
I saw a painted Superdream frame free to collect on FB, if no takers it was going to the tip, not local, Liverpool.

Hi Martin and welcome to the forum. If you could source an old frame to butch that would be best option that way you can keep the frame that’s meant to be with the bike.(unless it’s a replacement)
There’s not getting any more these old frames. I couldn’t hack into one of these with a grinder not if it’s a good frame.

Thanks for your welcome notes. I can see that you meet the nicest people on a CB750.... ;D
