Post by: Johnny4428 on February 11, 2025, 10:43:44 AM: Yes Ted I was cheffed with the outcome but it was fiddly, the pin head pinged off the sprung contact a couple of times 😳 but amazingly I found it again. Donâ€™t think my soldering iron was heating very well, had to flash by with a torch flame a couple of times to final melt the solder. Just to add if anybody else has to carry out this repair donâ€™t leave more than couple of mm on the back of pin, ask me how I know! Itâ€™s amazing how much the sprung contact has to compress to allow neutral position.
