Title: Bike in storage.

I can't start up and use my CB100N as often as I would like. If left for a few weeks the clutch plates will seize up, the bike subsequently jerking and stalling if put into gear. Has anyone found a way of freeing them off without having to strip the clutch down? Ta.

Put the bike on the centre stand, start it up, then pull in the clutch, put in 1st,blip the throttle, still with the clutch pulled in, it should free up,
Sometimes you may have to go up to 3rd,and do the same to free it

Can't you just kick it over with the clutch lever pulled in until the clutch frees off?

None of the above have worked, whatever you do the bike jolts and stalls as soon as you put it in gear.

Do you ensure the rear wheel is off the ground?

I know it’s not what you want to hear but I do think it is worthy of a clutch strip down and clean.

Rear wheel in air engine running and in 3rd or 4th rev up to about 4000 and stamp on rear brake, if that doesnt work its clutch case off and stripdown
