Title: New clutch
Post by: florence on April 01, 2025, 11:12:37 AM
Hello all,

I am about to put new oil and filter in my bike and thought it might be a good idea to look at my clutch at the same time.

Can anyone recommend where to buy clutch plates, springs and gasket.  I was thinking EBC might be a good choice but keen to seek opinions here before I part with hard cash.  I've been meaning to do this job for ages as my clutch slips and I want to get it right first time.

Many thanks,
Steve

Steve, my first 500 always slipped from standing start, well it did when i tried hard! Never wore out though.
One thing i would say is do not fit hd springs the clutch is heavy enough as it is plus probably change the steels as welk if you are going that far

Thank you Bryan

Annoyingly, mine slips when I change down to overtake things and accelerate hard.  It seems worse lately so going to try this.  I have tried adjustments and cables etc. so this is the next step.
