Title: How could it happen?

Today I had my front brake calliper apart to file a bevel on the pads leading edges and renew the copper grease. Great, squeak stopped. I had ridden about fifty yards in the compound here to test my handiwork, and I got a front tyre puncture doing THAT!  :o
Maybe I shouldn't ride on Fridays?  :-\
