These bolts :- All 5 of them. Hex and M6.
[attach=1]
Anybody know what the torque values might be. I looked in the Clymer manual and the Honda CB450 Factory Service Manual, but missed them if they were there.
I did find a spreadsheet with many useful torque values for much of the bike/frame. But not found a consistent value.

Is there not a generic setting for a M6 bolt into aluminium in the manual somewhere that you can use?

Go for 5ft lbs, I never torque these small bolts, always done by feel, hand tight then an eighth of a turn

Worthwhile to degrease and use blue locktite on them nowadays, obviously not prevalent at time of build.

yup, I think it must be 5 or 6 ft-ibs.
Clymer gives
6mm bolt, nut 6-9 ft-ibs
A cb500T manual gives
[attach=1]
And another manual? gives
[attach=2]
These bolts are internal to the engine, so once done they cannot be re-visited.
The Suzuki re5 engine rebuild seems to give torque settings for just about everything. Small or large bolts.
Back then, nobody was thinking 50 years ahead.....

Some Loctite thread locker will ensure they will not come loose.
