The weather has not been brilliant here for a while but does seem to be improving and a group of real Orcadians ventured out on Sunday. They stopped at Marwick Bay for a photo shoot, kindly done by a passing tourist, with the Monument to Kitchener high in the background. He, along with well over 700 men were lost on June 5th 1916 when HMS Hampshire struck a mine.
Johnny is the one with the hi-viz. I was on birthday duty with Christine, so had to have coffee and cake in a cafe on a car trip.

Hi Ian,
I would love to send (with your permission) this photo to Morag Spense in Inverness. Can you add names from left to right?
Hope all good with you my friend.

Hi Graham,
I'll ask each of them if it's OK but perhaps best only by PM to you, rather than directly on the forum.

Hi Ian, thanks for posting this pic, never thought of it as been out in Westray since this run and not been on here much. Had a lovely morning out coffee/ice cream stop at your local and a bit of goddip and banter. All good!
