:)
Hi been on my bike today , my mate told me when he followed me my bike really smelt rich , I've replaced all the jets and needles in all 4 carbs . I have adjusted the air screws ( screwed all the way in and then out until the idle picks up ) this was about 2.5 turns out ..
I fitted the needles on the second slot from the top like the old carbs were . Any one know if this is about right ?
If I was to drop it a slot would that make it better ? Runs fine when warm but a pig when cold ( see my other topic) how far should you screw those air screws out is 2.5 too far ?
Cheers again

I can't remember where I got this (probably from the US site) but it might help.

I'm going to look at the plug colour before having a task and a half stripping the carbs
Just a quick one is two slots down in the middle anyway ? It ll save me stripping if that's the case.
Thanks again

Stripped my carbs again and set the needles to the middle ,
Sinced the carbs with gauges and set the bleed screws to 1 turn out ..
Starts from cold a lot better and runs well sweet now . What a difference it's a joy to ride now ( should be as I've replaced everything for new ) its like triggers broom !!!
