Title: Handlebar switch assembly
Post by: buxtonmick on February 18, 2013, 10:31:43 AM
I know this is a long shot but can anyone help with reassembling the handlebar switches, namely the R/H one.  I've possibly lost a ball bearing (along with a few marbles...) and I've got a little clip type thing from somewhere.  I took ref pics during disassembly but of course springs and things pooped out when I was least expecting it.  :-[

Cheers, Mick.

Sorted it - yet again trying to figure something out for an hour, go and do something else for a bit, come back and look again and it just clicks  ::)

Hi,
I have sometimes found the US site to be very useful (http://forums.sohc4.net/)
In the case of the switch you might like to check this out even though you have now solved it.

Wow!  That's an absolutely superb tutorial for anyone like myself who needs to strip the assemblies down for repainting etc., very well put together.
