Hi all,
Started looking for tires for the 550, I would have liked the TT100 replica K81/82 but can't seem to locate them in the quoted size for the bike 325x19 front 375x18 rear. Does anyone know if they are available or any other sizes that will fit on the standard rims without catching on anything.
Are Dunlop Red Arrows still available.

Hi Paul the TT100 type tyre uses a different size system, I think the size you need is 360/19 front and 410/18 for rear. Modern avon roadriders are a good tyre, I think the red arrows were discontinued years ago. Cheers, Mick

The 425/85-18 was the size of choice for the rear "in the day"
Modern tyres are so much better though...

I use 90/90 X 19 f,and 100/90 X18 R
in Avon Roadrider, they are fantastic, great grip dry and wet,
run 29 psi F ,and 36 psi rear,
make my 500 feel like a 250 !!!
got about 9,000 miles for the front, and 3,000 for the rear,
for that reason,I am fitting Dunlop Streetsmart ,3.25 X 19 F ,and 4.00 X 18 rear.
main difference is the greater diameter overall, the Avon caused the speedo to read about 15% slow
will let you know how the Dunlops feel

Hi
thanks for the reply's, the reason for the TT100 replicas is to keep the classic look.
I put these on my 400 4 and was happy with them.
What I don't want to do is put a modern looking tire on, I know they are better performing but I don't go screaming around.
So any advice is greatly appreciated.
