Title: Front mudguard item prices

not usually one to moan about prices but this seems excessive for such little parts

6 rubber washer mounts  40513310000
6 collars   40514310000
6 bolts   92101-060200A

47 quid delivered ? for basically 6 rubber washers, 6 bolts and 6 collars

is there an alternative ..... hardware shop ?

I reckon its these small items which cause the cost of restoration to spiral to a level you never expect. the larger items are easy to estimate but all these little bits add up!

hell, I would just go to the hardware shop, a bolt is a bolt and as long as it does the job, what the hell?

 A bolt yes but you can't get the top hat washers or special sized grommets at the local hardware shop

Surely the tyre will let go before enough stress is put on those bolts.

well I forked out in the end, the bolts I could get elsewhere, the top hat washers and grommets I have not seen anything else like this in hardware shops so they had me over a barrel really
