in a nutshell they are asking about doing some near copies for exhausts in stainless steel
out of interest I emailed ian McDonald and this was response
We will need at least 10 people ready to buy- one of which can loan us the bike for weeks
the system will not be a copy of original- but will get as close as we can using motad bits- you may want to look at www.motad.co.uk to get a feel of what we do
if we made a 4-4 system it would be all stainless at I think we can get under £500 a set if we got enough interested

It'll be interesting to see what the uptake is on this, it sounds like a good price to me.
If they had been available last year I would have happily paid £500 for a stainless Motad 4 rather than buying a chromed 4-1 Motad. However unless someone wants to make me an appealing offer for my year old 4-1 Motad I'm not inclined to upgrade.
