Title: refitting this part
Post by: MikeM on January 20, 2014, 01:38:13 PM
Having problems with refitting a part  no 15

currently my no 15 and 12 are joined, as they came off the bike, do they have to be separated to get it back on and be able to slide the spindle through ?

I've only done it when they are separated. Don't know if it can be done otherwise.

I think you need to fit them before fitting the swing arm mate

Part number 15 should be fitted before the swinging arm. I took one off a couple of days ago, but i was taking the swinging arm off. You could try popping the rear shocks off and see if dropping the swinging arm down will give you enough room. The shocks will have to come off anyway.

Remove the wheel, detach the shocks and push the swinging arm up and you should be able to fit it.
