Title: help ! Senior moment

Have these 4 small ally ,rings left,have rebuilt the carbs and they were in the
same area of the bench so i imagine they go with them, Remember keeping them together but
now can,t see where they go.(silly old sod not making a note)

With you at the mo old git syndrome don't recognise those but will sleep on it.Definately not what I pmd you too big.

Sorry, i am looking for a picture that can easy explain. The ID of these should be the OD of the chrome bar that goes the length of the carbs on top. Can't remember what the bloody bar is called but, these should act like a bush.

Spot on trig they go under the screws along the carb bar on top they stop you over tightening the clamps and snapping them.There 3 bolts and 1 countersunk screw.
Well done mate will have to call you eagle eye from now on

Ultrasonic cleaned them in a small  cleaner a guy that works for me has
 and my Boys bought ma a soda blaster for my birthday last month Result..
Had this week off and her in doors was working so i managed to crack on with the bike.
Head off today and all looks ok. Hope to have it back on the road by the end of the month.

Missed a bit. I don't do grumpy old git, life is too short, if you can't be a kid and have a laugh every day your'e missing out.
anyway old bikes keep you young ;D My partner dosen't get my humour,now he is a grumpy old git ;D ;D(business partner that is)

John was part of a biker crowd that used to hang out with us at a pub in strood called prince of wales.At that time he lived at bredhurst kent and rode the only brown 500 four in kent at that time.Some survivors of that gang if you like 1 or 2 have seen him around kent on the odd occasion.Like I said would love to get in touch.I serviced of course for free all the jap bike owners at that time and he was one.

Bredhurst only 3or4 miles from where i lived, Only ever seemed to pass through
Strood but i know the pub.
I know him through dogs,he will be similar age,i'll let you know.
