Has anyone got a cable and wiring root diagram for a CB500K (low bars). If you could post a diagram i would be grateful.

No one got one then?
-
Trig, not familiar with the 500/550 differences... but perhaps you can pick the bones outta these?

Cheers Simon. Know the 550 inside out but, never built a 500 bike before only the engines. Everything is sorted its the throttle cables that i was trying to work out if went down the right or left side of the frame. Have seen them down the left side and cross over to the right through the hole where the coils sit. Does not look right on this one.

Just got home from a 15 hour shift, i have the build/pdi sheets and will scan that later mate

Cheers Bryan :)

Graham I am sure the cables go down the r/h side of the frame on the uk bikes otherwise they pull tight on full lock
-
I have had a look and the pdi/set up shows nothing. In the manual it only shows route for the 550 and that is inbetween the clocks, down the LH side (as sat on the bike) and through the big hole where the coils are. Hope that helps

Cheers boy's. I found it strange that i could not find any info on the 500. Found some stuff on the NET site but, all those are for high bars. At the moment i have them down the left side and through the hole. Thanks for looking :)
-
Definitely down the right hand side as you sit on the bike. Route them over the front tank mounting.
-
Cheers Paul, i am trying all options ;)

On my 500/4 the wiring wax down the left of the headstock, been like that for many years and miles.
-
Trig I have found this pic from the assembly/pdi instructions. It shows the cable route from the front of the bike and you can see the cables go to the rh of the bike as you sit on it, that is the same side as the throttle, hope this helps

Cheers Mick, The bars i have are lower than the ones in the drawing/picture. I can not get the brake hose down between the clocks.
The bar type i have are the same as the KO in this link>>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CB500-FOUR-1971-MINT-ORIGINAL-CONDITION-2400-MILES-UNRESTORED-/331276440972?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=9nI746JaJXMHJumMOU2O9E1f6sg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Sorry, in the last picture.
