Title: CB750F1 Surrey
Post by: martin_uk on November 14, 2014, 11:15:07 AM
Hi everyone

Quick intro-

I live near Guildford.

Have been into bikes since a teenager, started fixing a seized Lambretta at age of 14 and now have a few completed bikes and a few projects.

Most recent project was a UK reg CB750F1, bought from a friend, with a seperate removed seized engine.

Have always enjoyed fixing bikes and bringing rusty heaps back to life :)

Look forward to learning a bit more and sharing some of my experiences.

Regards

Martin

Hello, and welcome. CB750F1 is a good choice, and in my opinion the best looking of the SOHC 750s. Some of the unique to F1 parts can be a pain to find, and rather pricey, but I wouldn't part with mine for anything!:))

Welcome Martin. Nice to here that we have another member that enjoys bringing bikes back to life. Loads of good information to be had on the site.

Hi Martin welcome aboard fella, i have an F1 in my stash although it is all dismantled and boxed up just waiting for them days where i think i will have the time and money to rebuild, great bikes the f1's , they evolved in to the F2 which is even better bike, good luck with your project, any questions just ask

Hi Martin, welcome.

I owned an F1 back in 78, cost me all of £800 back then!

Doesnt stop me thinking about a K if the right project came along 8)

Not much more satisfying than reviving a rusted wreck to full working order. Good luck.
