Which oil and which sparkplugs should I use on my 76 cb550?

NGK D7EA and 10/40w mineral oil.

Thanks ðŸ‘

As long as you don't start and ride your bike in temps below zero degrees Celsius a 15W-40 oil is a better choice.
Many on the continent who are used to maintain high speeds favour the D8ES-L plug (in effect half a grade cooler than the '7'). That same plug is prescribed for all the other Fours.

I run the D7EAs and I use 15/40 Rotella T, but this could get into one of the ugly oil threads... Do you guys get those over on this board?

Oh, and I run 20/50 during the hot part of the summer. Texas gets a little warm. Probably not something you have to deal with, though.

I keep a close watch for oil threads

And after the events in France the other week I'm bloody glad we have such tight gun laws over here!
