Title: K7 recommended oil?

Hi all - Mineral 10/40?  Semi synthetic? 

I've heard differing opinions but I think ill go straight mineral oil unless im told different.

Many posts/arguments on this already, no need for anything other than 10(or15)w40 of the correct spec

Oil is a dangerous issue on forums!, people get very emotional about it for some reason, this forum however is made up of good natured gentlemanly types  :), oil technology has moved on from what it was in the 60's and 70's , my personal preference for an older engine would be semi synthetic over mineral oil, it handles heat better, but I doubt it really matters, so long as it's clean and changed at the correct intervals.
