Spotted in a 1982 episode of minder on ITV4 today.

I wonder if it's still around
-
Ha ha - a 400F, a dream and a superdream all right there!
-
Weren't those 250 dreams just an ugly bike. They used to call them wet dreams around here. ;D
-
We referred to the Superdreams as wet dreams. Didn't see a lot of dreams.
-
What's the front mudguard on the 400/4 from? It's certainly not original.
Looks a bit dodgy to me .... so in keeping with the rest of the programme ....
-
Well spotted
Call me odd but I rather like the bulbous styling of the dreams :-X
-
I'v met you so I can confirm your odd. :P :P

I will second that ;D ;D
Tom the bike at Sammy millers that you showed a interest was a Honda XBR500 ;)
-
Just checked out your RD250 rebuild site Bodd. That's one top job. Well done mate. 8)
-
Liking the XBR just confirms it. ;D

Looks like a CB250 K0->K3 to me, with the stays inside the mudguard. Centre brace not the same though so must be a bodge up. His old mate George Cole passed away recently.

Hmm, says the boy who made the mistake of buying (sh)italian
-
I can look at (si)italian stuff all day were as the XBR is just shit ;D

Au contraire mes amis (oh wait I'm not the one called Trigger ;) ) I thought the XBR500 was completely weird. That rat 250 Superdream, now if it was a blue dream model I would be salivating ::)
Mate of mine had one - went on the back of it when it was legal to ride pillion if you had a full license :P

My point exactly, you can look at it forever, coz it probably wont start, try fixing or servicing it and things break/snap or shear, and they cost a fortune in helicoils/wurth inserts! ;D Still, I suppose you could clean it, but don't show it a damp chamois, there will be a race for the water between the metalwork wanting it to make lots of rust, or the wonderfully deliquescent electrical system wanting to suck it all up! :o (I'm after the late great Bitsa's reputation, do miss his comments!)

Sorry but that's a two wheeled turd. :o The bids are just pouring in.
-
I thought that was what you were going for Hairy love the Devil smiley
That was also a perfect description of both my Italian bikes. ::)

He'll be lucky to get half that.
