It also sounds like it has had quite a makeover and should be near new by the sound of it.

Not too bad Mat but, has wrong forks, wrong master, rust holes on the left ear (the place were they always go) and I have counted 11 parts wrong or missing from the photos ;D ;D

One day I will find time to re assemble my 500k0, I wonder how many wrong parts it has? Appart from the period aftermarket exhaust that I know about and missing badges on the sidepannels..... I bet it takes me about 6 months after rebuild to swap incorrect bits just from what I get mixed up from 5 different 500 and 550s. I cannot see myself going more detail purfect on one then that. I did get fussy and buy the chrome tank trims as 1 bit went missing on my daily rider.
