Title: Newbie North Wales
Post by: daggartuk on September 14, 2015, 05:57:09 PM: Hello folks, I've just bought myself a CB550 K3 which has been given the cafe racer treatment - I guess not everyone's cup of tea but it does look pretty and it's a look which I've always liked. The names Gareth and I live on the north Wales coast and have been riding about 25 years. Whilst the bike is more or less finished, there are some tweaks I'd like to do to make it mine. Anyway, great forum and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. Cheers.

Post by: daggartuk on September 15, 2015, 07:23:55 PM: Thanks Mike, I bought the bike as is off an engineer up north - engine rebuilt, ss wheels and spokes, carbs refurbished, frame, tank and hump painted and of course ace bars, new seat and rearsets fitted. Still a few jobs for me to do to get it how I want it but it's nice to have something to occupy me over the winter. Exhaust let's it down a bit so I will be looking for recommendations for a replacement. Cheers.
