Morning All,
Recently bought a CB750 for a cafe racer project. I am missing so many bits that I should probably just call it a frame with potential!
French, lived in the UK for many years so no need to explain to me what banter means ;)
I look forward to seeing what people are up to (ie: restoration, mods...)

Welcome Francois
I'm in Heathfield, not far from Tunbridge Wells,
Have you got pictures of the bike so we can see what you need.

Thank you All for the warm welcome.
I have a 1978 CB750 frame with V5 in my name and also a rusty tank; I am gonna need pretty much everything else.
The idea is a cafe racer with USD front end conversion and monoshock.
The first piece of puzzle is an engine for that frame. I will post an advert in the appropriate section asap.

Hi Francois, welcome to the forum. I'm down in Dungeness, Kent and will probably be of no use to you at all but, I do like a good laugh and I hope I add a little bit of humour to the forum ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Julie; a good laugh might just be what I will need :)

A 1978 frame will make it an F2 or K7. That puts it right down my street. Welcome to the forum.
-
Any and all CB750SOHC will fit
-
Thanks guys; it is indeed a CB750F frame.
Glad to know that all SOHC will fit. :)
I will post an ad this morning.

Check out Bike bits in Ramsgate.
Rumor has it he has a few breakers tucked away if you can persuade him to part with them!
Will be my first port of call for spares.

Hi Francois and welcome ;) cheers Mick.

I was watching an episode of Scrapheap Challenge, the one where they had to make a mobile crane. Once the cranes were built, there was a race to shift scrap from A to B. The supposed car engines looked very much like CB750 engines. I didn't like to mention it in case anyone on the forum had a heart attack.
-
I saw that episode to Mike :o :'(

Did you notice the engines?
