Just curious - my bike (frame number 1040871) is I believe a K0 (engine number also starts with 1 but dont have it with me).
Is there any truth that K0s ar worth more than K1 or K2?

If frame and engine start with 10...... it is a KO, Everything K0 is worth more than K1 or K2, as it is the first of the model. If it is a UK K0, then the value is even more.

Thanks that's helpful ask it happens it's a us import but I guess you can't have everything 😄😄

The one in the picture is a UK unit. The USA have two values as the early ones came with a flat crank case.

This is the square crankcase...K0's (first editions) are generally more valuable / collectible.

Can you clarify what you mean by square crankcase

Look at the first image above, then compare to the upper crankcase on your bike. That should explain..first ~2300 or so 500 k0's had this feature (we think).
