The most annoying thing about it is I've been growing more and more paranoid before it went missing.
Before it went my neighbours used to leave there vans unlocked and windows down. I did to but started to lock it properly about three months ago.
I had been noticing a car doing u turns at the end of the road on a fairly regular basis around 10pm normally.
Since it had become a regular occurrence that night I decided to stop being a curtain twitcher and ignored it.
A couple minutes later I heard the trucks aluminium sides rattle same again I ignored it as the wind was picking up so nothing out of the ordinary. Just as I rolled over in bed the engine fired up and I was up just in time to see it round the corner

A couple of weeks ago my truck was stolen from my driveway. Less than 2 feet away from my bedroom window.
Myself and my neighbours have been very lax on security. 30+ years nothing has ever happened.
Yesterday  I setup a Tapo c500 camera and wish I did it sooner rather than later. Excellent quality and lovely and clear night vision. It no secret I have a garage full of bikes and tools so will be getting another to monitor inside the garage. Set up with motion detection and alarm.

All I'm going to say is act now rather than later and don't own a transit tipper when surrounded by travellers.🙄

Iv used my Makita impact driver on my triumph tiger exhaust manifold recently. Just gently hammer away at rusty nuts. All but one came off.
Had it for years and used daily but only just thought about using on the bikes.

My pet hate with them is when carpenters put door handles and hinges on and round the heads off.

The thing with any Italian bike is stick with it. You will develop a love hate relationship and inevitable electrical issues. But once there sorted there great.

I have owned my aprilia for 22 years. Yes it goes wrong and parts are hard to get but I will never part with it
.every journey is an adventure

My Guzzi IV had for around 10 years all that has really needed to make it reliable was a direct feed from the alternator to the battery to fix the well know Italian issue that makes electricity disappear.

Iv decided not to use the bikes for awhile as not having much luck lately.
Used the pegaso and someone tried to steal it from Colchester. Luckily being Italian it went into self district mode and the front sprocket came off before it even moved 6 feet.
Thursday night some scumbag traveler stole my transit tipper.
Today I went to take my recently purchased Tiger for it's maiden voyage and binned it joining the road behind my house.  ;D

My green 750 has 80k on the clock when I changed it for a better one.
I think I will stick with the milage now at 20k  :)

I consider the mileage on any classic totally pointless. There's no way of knowing how many times the clock has been changed

The little husky is perfect for the single tracks. Shame it only holds just over a gallon of fuel

I did wonder about the safety goggles probably my best bet after asking around and all have suggested Mitchell's.

Not that distance is a problem. Just been looking back at where I've been.

Since I only have a week free and my dad is on a husky 401 we trailered the bikes. Which is fine as a 650+ motorway journey is crap by bike anyway.

Based in Rhue and wonder aimlessly every day.

Sunday we went from loch Assynt along the A837 then the B869 along the coast all the way to Scourie. Then back south A894,A837 and A835

Monday back to Scourie to Ben stack, A836 to Lairg, A839, A837 then A835

Today was a mad one south to Garve, Strathcarron then onto Skye to catch the glass bottom boat that never set sail. So went to loch Shieldaig, loch Maree then followed the A832 around most of the coast until Braemore then back north.

Finally made the time for a holiday and the visor and chin bar has decided to part ways. So now need a new helmet. Can anyone recommend a motorcycle clothing shop anywhere remotely close.
my final destination of the day is Rhue near Ullapool

Mersea a place where the strood has caught me out more than once. I'v been mad enough to cross it when I should have known better. The Aprilia has gained most of its corrosion crossing that bugger and even snapped a chain because I was to lazy to clean it.

Never understood the don't need your brakes due to regen argument. I only ever change the disks and pads once in a vans lifetime. At 140k on my Ranger and 135k on the Doblo. I don't expect to do it again until at least 260k.
Disks on the back are a stupid idea my DRW Transit is due another set of discs due to the lack of use and full of corrosion  ::)

If you exclude the sawdust and grease and oil. Mine get left uncovered for the most part In a garage.
Whenever I've kept a bike clean it condensates and corrodes
But non of mine are showing queens

I run Continental K112 & RB2 in all weather. Never been an issue and I don't hang around on my 100mile commute I'm soon to change the rear on the 750 as it's now below the wear bar. Three rear to one front
