@Sesman, I haven't yet, but on the k2 (the early ones) there is a possibility to attach the clip to the caliperarm bracket. I'am still debating this soltution because the fastener comes very close to the rim.

I know we all love a piccie or two so here's one of my longterm project. It started almost 4 years ago. Spent some time with dismanteling, sourcing parts, rechroming some bits and bobs. The frame has been powdercoated. The orginal exhausts need some polishing and the battery needs to be fitted. Now I'am in the final stages of assembling.

I use a "Ram Mount". Fits many phone models. Quick mounting and easy visual inspection on secure installation. No power supply though.

Loctite 5699
A thin smear will do the trick nicely. Avoid applying too much. Excess can end up in the oil galleries and cause oil starvation. 11

There is a service limit on the primary chain according to the service manual. Just measure the slack and then you can decide on splitting the cases or not.

Did you check the ohm-readings on the 3 stator wires? That will tell you something. The regulator is more likely to fail...

You must be chuffed.
What replacement bolt will you be using? There are non OEM bolts with a larger hex. Less change to get mangled. 14
