CB500/550 / Emulsion tubes question« on: August 16, 2025, 08:32:35 AM »
Good morning all..
I'm putting my 500 K1 carbs back together... Should the emulsion tubes be a snap in tight fit or not very tight ? My original cleaned ones push in fairly easily and not tight... do they get held in place my main jet o ring and spring once all together ? ![]() 3

CB500/550 / Carb rubbers question« on: July 26, 2025, 09:01:44 AM »
Hello all, I have removed my carbs from 500K1 to clean out and replace float valves & seats after as they are overflowing.
Question is.. the inlet rubbers are very hard and stuck and I reckon they need replacing as I can't see they will go back on as so stiff.. are the pattern ones ok or oem best / better ? Are they fexible when new and is there a best re installation order with rubbers / carbs / airbox side ? Thanks for any help with this.. as I'm sure you know it's all very tight in there. ![]() 6
