cb360 UK head lamp

Hello, Did the Uk CB360 G5 have a bulb headlight and not a sealed beam unit?.  I have a USA cb360 K0 import and its the sealed beam headlamp.  It does have both beams working so its ok for now.
But I would change it for the separate bulb system.  Im sure the CB250G5 UK model was NOT sealed beam??.

Has anybody changed the sealed beam for the bulb headlamp.

UK had bulb unit and the replector + bulb connector is all you need

On the 500 I replaced a bodged unit with a new one. Tried led - good white light for day but didn’t focus at night. Now using a Xenon 55/60 H4 which focusses well with dip cut off, and seems bright, still to road test at night.

I finally found the part numbers for the UK reflector and bulb bits.  It seems that David S does a *REPRO*HEADLIGHT

Has anybody tried one of these.  Fair bit cheaper that original.

With the number of 250/360G5 in this country I thought there would be a few of on ebay.  But if the David S product fits ok then its the way forward.

I guess thats the answer.  Not seen one for ages on ebay.  Thats why I asked if the uk model was not sealed unit.
I will get one from DSS.  Must put an order together.  The fuel tap is weeping a bit + a few other bits.  But its all together and running.  Now its the final fettling and getting all to be working as it should and not just working.

Oops, another senior moment - I bought DS replica then sprayed and re-fitted original (DS one to be sold!)

The CB 360 headlight is the same as (Or at least very similar to) the CB 400-4 one. There should be plenty of those around!

In the end I bought the one from DS.  I needed some other bits for other honda bikes as well so made up an order.

Its now fitted and works fine.  Does seem brighter.  At least the bulb can now be changed.

So its all done and working.  A simple restoration in the end and fun to ride around.

I suppose I should get back to the rebuild of the RE5.  Which is anything but simple.
