John I do envy your ability to be able to still travel abroad for some R & R.
Back in the day Wendy & I really enjoyed the Greek Islands, Zakinthis held some very special memories.
I was always torn between Cyprus & Crete.

I think this photo was taken sometime around 1995 in the days when we always hired a bike when on holiday as a car was beyond our budget.

Not quite as warm as Spain but nonetheless a very pleasant ride today. I'm sure I saw snow forecast for some parts of the UK next week 🙄🙄🙄.

Same here with the heavy frosts but it's soon clearing in the morning sun. As much as I love snow, I could do without it now.

As i get even olderer and arthriticer snow becomes more demonic along with any low temperature

I used to love riding in the snow, especially when I was on early mornings and I was the first to ride through it.
This was before I could drive a car and only had the bike, nowadays unless there is a big big yellow thing in the sky and the sky is blue I do not go out on the bike.

Very Spring-like yesterday with dry roads and 12C. Went for a blat on the 400/4 which is running well apart from a high tickover when hot.
