VERY Tired CB 550

I have a nominaly N reg 550 that i have discovered is in a 500 frame.

This is in atrocious condition with a lacework tank, no seat or rear shocks and a 759 front caliper.
Has been stood many years and is nor pretty.

Cost is ZERO but needs collecting from Gloucester, pics are possible if you send me a PM

ONCE AGAIN THIS IS AN ABYSMALL BIKE

Probably not as good! I had it for spares but run out of space, has a good top yolk that somebody wanted one of!!

Ken, it was so much of a bitsa a couldnt be bothered to lay a spanner on it mate
750 caliper
Fiberglass rear mudguard
500 frame
550 engine

I could go on but to me its better where it is being used

I managed to save the rear axle by cutting up the rotten swing arm.
I don't want to start counting chickens,  but it's looking like the rear drum (now bare) might actually have a serviceable liner in it .
The swing arm bolt and shaft are good, pumped full of grease.
Strangely,  the axle spacer between the brake plate and the swing arm had rotted right through to the axle.
But the two chain adjusters although rusty and scruffy,  are actually still serviceable.
Corrosion is weird.
