Holidays in Wales (Bala)

My good wife and I (plus Springer) are off to a cottage near Bala for a week in mid-August.

Any of you around that area?

I always make a point of hooking up with a fellow member when I move out of the Thames Valley...

Recommend a good pub and a free beer is on offer!

I'm by local standards not that far off. I guess about 50 miles or so. Often seem to be up there with work lately exploring the lanes on trail bikes. I rarely go up north west otherwise. Great biking roads. Lots of history interest.

I live in Hereford,I guess about 100mls from Bala,great hotel/pub in the main street,

 if the weather is good,might be able to do a ride out,

I can do a ride out, but on the ntv, I'll be adding photos of my project 500/4 soon, the rust fairy has eaten a fair portion of the rear subframe. I plan on the 500/4 outfit being on the road for christmas, oily rag resto.
