Hello from Cheshire
« on: May 19, 2016, 09:20:53 PM »
Just thought I would say hello am in the process of putting a early 750 k2 back on the road.  well I say k2 it's more like someone had a k2 in one hand and a k3 in the other and decided to slap them together  :) so am on the long road to find the right parts for it.

Hi and thanks trigger yes it's a English bike I was given it about a  year ago by a family member as a project because I have just finished a restoration on my 1973 triumph tr6p they had owned it since the 80's but it has been in bits since the early 90's there's quite a lot of k3 parts on it. I say k3 because I've noticed the number on the frame is a early k2 and the engine has got a k3 number it dosnt bother me much that there different because it's going to be my ride when it's built it mite take a while to do though  :)

The number on a UK K2 are a little strange, if you give me the engine number I can tell you if it is a UK K2 engine or a USA K3 ;) as a engine builder I have lists of all numbers.
Will also need the date of UK reg.
