F2 EXHAUST, FITTING 4 INTO 2 ?
« on: December 26, 2006, 09:29:45 PM »
HELLO ALL
HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GOOD CHRISTMAS, A QUICK QUESTION, HAS ANYBODY FITTED A 4 INTO 2 EXHAUST TO A 78 F2, OR MAYBE A 4 INTO 4, I HAD A 4 INTO 2 DUNSTALL SYSTEM FITTED TO MY 76 F1 A FEW YEARS AGO,BUT OVIOUSLEY NOT AVAILABLE NOW. MINE HAS A BODGED KAWASAKI PIPE FITTED AT THE MOMENT, JUST WONDERED IF ANYBODY HAS DONE IT,AS I LIKE THE BALANCED LOOK OF PIPES EITHER SIDE.
HAPPY NEW YEAR HONDERING.
DAVE.

Dave,
I am with you on the symmettry of pipes on both sides. I had an F1 and the thing I hated was the single pipe. It is relatively easy, if somewhat expensive, to fit twins or 4into4; DSS has pipes, but as I said it is pricey. Main prob is if you fit twin pipes, there are no fittings on the near side for the pipe. But a bracket is easy to fit.
Jim.
